High-End Restaurant Internship – Gorey

The company: 

A high-end, family-run hotel and restaurant in County Wexford, Ireland, located in the small town of Gorey, just a few kilometres from the Irish Sea.

The Internship: 

• Food and beverage position, meaning you will work exclusively in catering during this internship, in direct contact with customers as well as handling set-up before service,…
• You will work in the two restaurants adjacent to this family hotel, which cater to hotel guests and passers-by alike. One of the two restaurants is fine dining and the other is more casual.
• You will also work on events, receptions and ceremonies, which are frequent in their restaurants. At certain times of the year, they host one wedding ceremony per week.

Internship benefits and prerequisites: 

• Accommodation and meals provided by the company for the duration of the internship
• Possibility of extending the internship beyond 4 months with a paid position for a duration of 4 weeks or more depending on requirements.
• Good level of English required – Intermediate or strong beginner.
• Hotel/Catering/Tourism students or individuals with experience in these fields.
